J6 rioters eye Trump’s $1.776B grievance fund
Washington built a $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization” fund, and some Jan. 6 defendants heard the word “compensation” like a dinner bell. The money is tied to Trump’s IRS tax-return-leak settlement, meant for people claiming political prosecution. A Virginia judge has already frozen the setup, and the five commissioners who would decide claims have not even been named. Still, AP reports pardoned rioters are publicly circling the fund, including one former lawyer offering to help “J6ers” for a 10% cut, capped at $5,000. That is the modern grievance economy: first you storm the building, then you ask whether parking is validated by taxpayers.
