U.S. strikes Iranian site near Strait of Hormuz

The U.S. says its forces shot down four Iranian attack drones and hit a military site near Bandar Abbas, by the Strait of Hormuz. Officials call it defensive, but the timing is volatile: peace talks are still underway, and one of the world’s busiest oil routes now has another flashpoint beside it.
